Kangana Ranaut accused of theft, ‘Manikarnika Returns’ producer breaks silence

Mumbai. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut announced to pursue her film Manikarnika franchise and shortly after that she was accused of theft. After the announcement of ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda’ (Ashik Kaul), Writer of ‘Didda’ alleged that Kangana stole his story. Kamal Jain (Manikarnika Returns) has broken the silence on this matter and said that the stories before 1950 are not copyrighted.

Talking about the film, Kamal Jain said that ‘Didda’ will be taken higher than the scale of ‘Black Panther’. Its budget can go above 80 crores. He said that Didda has been asked a month before by two big writers to write a larger than life story, which he will soon reveal. Ashish Kaul has accused Kangana of copyright, during an interview he said Kangana, who is fighting for, is not openly violating the rights of writers like me. Writer said that Kangana has grossly violated the rights. This is illegal and a complete violation of the country’s IPR and copyright laws.
